Weaved in the moonlight,
in the silence of the ghoulish howls
with the least tinge of fear, hungry for adventure
we walked.
Every step was trodden with care,
not awakening the sleeping hornets
not disturbing the mating chipmunks
crushing down the leaves, dry and dead,
helping them feed the earth with ease
we walked.
As we kissed the gentle breeze
felt a peaceful wave unfold;
showing us a wonder
aeons of earthly life, from the past buried
coming to life, on the road ahead
we walked.
Every friend and foe stood there
amidst a dark gloom
the moon failing to shine;
in the Kingdom of Sara
we had set foot on.

” Every faded path,
Every trodden stone,
Every grain of sand
Behooves me to revive.
The cold draft sets ablaze
a whining fire;
Unknown, my tears write a tale
astoundingly unique.
The legacy awaits the king,
The legend comes to life,
Calling upon me a new descent,
Man Supramental !!
A passionate intellectual, assiduously ardent,
lovingly human.
Transcending all predecessors known
has begun the descent
Of life, Of joy.
A silent involution in progress !”

- The Chinese government has a policy that every parent can have only one child. This was relaxed to two children per couple a few years ago. This policy is intended to help increase the per capita income of China and boost the Chinese development rate in 20 – 30 years.
- Shanghai rose up in the Developed ladder only in the late 1990s.
- Majority of the Chinese population is concentrated in East and Middle China.
- Masters degree in Engineering in Chinese universities is for a period of 3 years.
- The Chinese government has policies whereby the Western parts of the country are also brought into the development stream.
- Many Chinese students prefer Hong Kong and Singapore as their destination for post-graduate studies.
Note:
This post will be updated often. It is a result of the discussions and talks i have with the friend in my lab, Feng Liu.

This happened 3 days ago … I was up all night working and wound up by 6 AM. Deciding to go out for a walk, I strode out, clothed in a pull-over.
I would have walked for 50 meters from my apartment, just 50 meters. Beyond that my legs couldn’t carry me. They had literally froze. Genetically, my body finds it difficult to bear the normal room temperature of 72 F and this morning it just went numb. My first reaction was to run back towards home, but I couldn’t walk fast. I pushed myself with all the energy left in me and staggered towards the apartment. Fumbling with the keys I let myself in. The warmth of the interior greeted me. I had survived a bout of 13 C, the October cold of Tucson.
There were times when I felt I missed the American winter, snow fall and the likes, but now I feel the best place for me to feel the Amrikan experience is Arizona.

Putting the quill to rest
refurbished
a systemic upheaval awaiting;
With the joy of accomplishment
in peace danced my soul.
